We have an exciting opportunity to join our passionate and enthusiastic team at Bridgend College contributing to the education and development of the next generation of Health and Social Care professionals.
In this flexible role, your responsibilities will include planning, delivery, evaluation and assessment of innovative curriculum content, ensuring that learners achieve their potential and meet all course requirements. You will provide mentorship to inspire and educate learners, through engaging and inclusive lessons, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in the health and social care sector. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping shape our learners to gain the qualifications they need to support the communities they will serve.
You should be a current or recent Health and Social Care practitioner with a strong awareness of contemporary practices and critical theoretical perspectives. You will have a recognised qualification in Health & Social Care, as well as a relevant degree or higher level qualification. Experience of working with young people and/or a PGCE certificate (or a willingness to work towards one) is essential, along with a good understanding of relevant issues in the FE and HE sectors. With excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide and diverse student population you will be passionate about motivating all learners to be well-prepared for successful careers in the health and social care sector.
