Overall job purpose
A s enior leadership role that directly supports the Director to provid e the children, young people and residents of Anglesey with the most effective and efficient support.

To act as the leader with direct responsibility for the complex field of ALN and Inclusion , continuing to organise and develop it, and supporting services to establish operational principles in line with relevant legislation and to ensure compliance with ALN legislation. To l ead on a professional specialist field within Additional Learning Needs and Inclusion .

To w ork jointly and collaborat e locally, regionally and nationally with a wide range of stakeholders and partners, i.e., Welsh Government, Estyn, h ealth b oard, Children and Family Services, elected members, school leaders in addition to the Senior Leadership Team and Corporate Management Team.

A key member of the Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Director of Education, Skills and Young People and deputising for that role as required.
