We are seeking an exceptional Teacher in Charge to lead our Junior Specialist Centre, a nurturing and inclusive setting dedicated to supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the Junior Specialist Centre, ensuring a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for all pupils.
- Liaise effectively with external agencies, parents/carers, and the wider school community to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
- Lead and support a dedicated team of staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, high expectations, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement tailored learning plans that meet the diverse needs of pupils.
- Monitor and evaluate pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and intervention strategies.
- Be a qualified teacher with experience in Additional Learning Needs and Disabilities education.
- Be qualified to work with pupils with ASC or equivalent.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Be an excellent communicator, able to build positive relationships with pupils, families, staff, and external professionals.
- Be passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
