We are seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated class teacher of SLD/PMLD with recent secondary school experience to contribute fully in Canolfan Amanwy.

Successful applicants will:

• Be responsible for teaching and leading an SLD/PMLD class.
• Demonstrate specialist skills in teaching pupils with PMLD/SLD.
• Demonstrate sound subject knowledge of the curriculum for Wales and a passion to support young people to make progress.
• Demonstrate a good level of understanding of Person Centred Planning approaches to support personalised learning
• Be an innovative and creative teacher, who uses a range of approaches which meet the needs of individual students.
• Be an outstanding PMLD/SLD classroom practitioner with excellent behaviour management skills.
• Have a proven track record of success in engaging young people to achieve.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

DBS level:
