The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a with a thorough understanding of working in a primary school and in particular the Foundation Phase.

The successful candidate will:
  • Have a good understanding of Curriculum for Wales and Foundation Learning pedagogy.
  • Have good interpersonal skills and be able to work constructively as part of a team;
  • Have experience for caring for young children;
  • Be able to work both under the direction of the class teacher and display initiative.
  • Have quality experience as a classroom practitioner who inspires and leads children to meet their full potential.
  • Have the enthusiasm, energy and ability to motivate, challenge and support pupils
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills to work effectively with parents, staff and governors.
  • Be able to appreciate and support the role of other professionals;
  • Be prepared to participate in development and training opportunities;
