Rhondda Cynon Taf Access and Inclusion Service wish to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced teacher for the Learning Support Class for pupils with autistic spectrum disorder based at Porth Community Primary School.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with pupils with autistic spectrum disorder within the context of a mainstream school. The class will support approximately 8 students from Reception to Year 2 and will be staffed by a teacher and two Learning Support Assistants.
Ideally, successful applicants will have experience of working with pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and will have undertaken relevant specialist professional development. A successful candidate without specialist training will be expected to complete appropriate specialist training.
