Ysgol Sŵn y Dôn is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher who shares our commitment to child-centred education and community values. We strive to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is supported to thrive. The successful candidate will demonstrate a particular interest in outdoor learning/Forest School, and will be confident in delivering high-quality teaching across a range of primary age groups to support PPA cover. A strong understanding of behaviour management, alongside a trauma-informed and nurturing approach, is essential. We are looking for someone who is reflective, eager to develop professionally, and committed to fostering pupil voice and wellbeing. Desirable qualities and skills:
- Knowledge, understanding and experience of assessment processes and progression steps.

- Be able to effectively lead whole school initiatives through collaboration and research based projects.
The ability to teach and communicate effectively through the medium
Welsh is desirable for this post. Due to the nature of the post the successful candidate will be subject to a disclosure by the Disclosure and Barring Service. It is a requirement that successful candidate will need to register with the Education Workforce Council prior to commencing employment
