Haverfordwest High VC School is seeking to appoint a HLTA Health & Wellbeing to support the promotion and development of sport within the school. The successful candidate would join us in working in an environment which promotes excellence, inclusion and high expectations.

 

Grade 6 - £27,269 for 37 hours per week term time only for 45.8 weeks per annum equating to £23,953.21 pro rata rising to 46.8 weeks, £24,476.20 pro rata per annum after 5 years' service.

    

The HLTA Health & Wellbeing will primarily be required to promote and develop Sport in curriculum time, and to establish extra-curricular activity which engages boys and girls of all abilities within a fully inclusive sporting programme - including development as coaches, referees, administrators and volunteers, as well as participants with established links to club/cluster and community provision.  The role will also support the provision and delivery of a BTEC Sport Level 3 course provided within the school. 

     

A good standard of education, communication skills, an understanding of children/young people's needs and rights together with experience of working with children are essential for this role.
