This is an exciting opportunity to work in Abercynon Community Primary School and be part of the thriving community of Abercynon.
The Governing Body of Abercynon Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a School Clerk to work in a caring school with a strong nurturing ethos. The clerk will be responsible for attendance, pupil administration, general financial administration and other administrative school office tasks.
The successful candidate will:
- Have positive relationship with staff, pupils and parents.
- Be IT competent with a good knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Have experience and sound knowledge of working with IT Modules and systems.
- Have the ability to use ICT for word processing, spreadsheets and data management.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Work as part of a team and also act on their own initiative.
- Be able to use a range of reprographic equipment.
- Be able to prioritise and work to deadlines
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills
- Have an awareness of importance of confidentiality and data protection.
- Have a working knowledge of attendance procedures.
