The position will be 33.5 hours a week:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30am-3:30pm
Tuesday 8:30am-4:30pm

Applicants are invited to apply for a Teaching Assistant to provide support for children with additional learning needs at Jubilee Park Primary School in Newport, starting on 1st September 2025. Experience of working with ALN pupils is highly desirable.

Jubilee Park Primary School opened on the 1st September 2017 as an English-medium, community-maintained school. It has been established on a growing school basis to support the Jubilee Park housing development and is within the Bassaleg cluster of primary schools.

We are a learning community, focused on igniting a passion for learning. All members of our school work together to ensure wellbeing is at the heart of what we do. We are committed to creating a happy and inclusive learning environment where we support each other to thrive and success is
celebrated.

The appointment process will involve an interview with a member of the Leadership Team and a member of the Governing Body.

The Governing Body and Local Authority are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS). This post requires you to be registered with the EWC.
