SCHOOL MEALS SUPPORT OFFICER
G05 points 6-8
£18,755 - £19,357
TERM TIME ONLY, 38 WEEKS PER YEAR
32.5 hours per week
We are looking for 1 motivated, enthusiastic, flexible and experienced caterers to join the catering management and supervisory team and provide support to the cooks and catering assistants in our school kitchens.
The duties are varied and wide ranging, including monitoring lunch and breakfast service delivery on site, training and mentoring catering staff, assisting with menu and promotional event planning, and generally supporting the catering managers and supervisor. Experience in and knowledge of the school meals service is highly desirable.
The successful applicant will be required to promote the school meals service to a wide range of people including children, parents and headteachers, and there will be some evening work required.
You will need to be a good communicator, and have the ability to demonstrate practical catering skills and competent IT skills.
The post requires a full driving licence, and daily use of the postholders' own vehicle, with business insurance.
